Reverse Legend error: "HON" in this context specifically points to the incorrect spelling of "HONI" on the reverse side, which is part of the Garter motto,"HONI·SOIT·Q MAL·Y·PENSE". Obverse: New laureate portrait of King George III right, legend around. Engraver: Benedetto Pistrucci. Legend: GEOR:III D:G: BRITT:REX F:D: (George the Third by the Grace of God King of the Britains Defender of the Faith).
