Cabot Wood Toned Deck and Siding Stain (3000 Series) Cabot Wood Toned Deck and Siding Stain for new or reconditioned exterior wood surfaces including siding, fences, and decks.  Cabot specially formulated this stain with a unique blend of resin and oil.  This deep penetrating oil provides a natural finish to bare wood and leaves a flat translucent-toned look.  Over time the surface will have a natural wood hue. Fade resistant and water repellent. Additional Information Coverage for this stain will depend on surface conditions; rough surfaces, 200 to 300 square feet per gallon and smooth surfaces, 400 to 600 square feet per gallon.  This stain has been tinted to 4 different colors.  A one coat application is recommended.  The appearance of stain will vary depending on wood coloring  and wood surface condition.  Allow 24 to 48 hours to dry.  Clean up with VOC compliant brush cleaner or mineral spirits.
