Cabot Semi-Solid Deck and Siding Stain (1400 Series)

Cabot Semi-Solid Deck and Siding Stain (1400 Series) Cabot Semi-Solid Deck and Siding Stain contains extra pigments for a deeper color than semi-transparent.  This stain is fade resistant, water-repellent, and a deep-penetrating oil stain. New wood or reconditioned surfaces such as decks, siding, fences, shakes, roofs, log cabins, or shingles are best. Additional Information Coverage for this stain will depend on surface conditions; generally this stain will cover 400 to 500 square feet per gallon.  This stain can be tinted to 100 different colors as long as the tint contains 12 ounces or less of tint per gallon.  A one coat application is recommended. Color choice will determine which base is needed.  Clean up with a VOC compliant brush cleaner or mineral spirits.  Clear (1400) and White (1411) are ready-mixed and cannot be tinted.
