For the 2025 season, the team has retained the black theme, incorporating a few fresh updates. Gun driver and championship contender, Chaz Mostert, races the #25 Optus-backed Ford Mustang GT, featuring a livery designed by Peter Hughes that blends black and teal gradients while introducing more colour to the sides, with added silver and white elements. The updated design is an evolution of last year’s black livery, making it even more dynamic and visually appealing. After two podiums were secured at the opening Sydney round of the season, Mostert’s first win of 2025 came in Race 9 at the ITM Taupo Super 440, where he and Brodie Kostecki had an incredible battle in one of the best races of the season to date. Mostert’s strong form carried over with a third place finish on the Sunday in Race 10, making the trip across the Tasman a successful weekend for Walkinshaw Andretti United.
