RIPMAX / KEIL KRAFT A-KK1020. Invader – Balsa / Tissue Glider Kit. 40in / 1016mm Wingspan Wood & Tissue covered assembly kit. Requires glue, paints (Optional) and tools to complete Now reproduced by Ripmax Ltd based in Enfield, the new range of Keil Kraft kits have been updated with laser cut parts but still maintain their classic looks and performance. Construction of the model from this kit uses the traditional method of “stick and tissue”, that consists of a built up balsa wood skeleton (framework), covered with a tissue skin. The balsa frameworks are pinned and built over a plan on a flat board. Hand or Towline launch. Model Details: The Invader was always a popular model in the Keil Kraft glider range thanks to the distinctive twin fin tail. The Invader is a simple to build towline glider that was originally designed by Albert E. Hatfull, and has since been redesigned in CAD. The polyhedral wing and dihedral tailplane offer superb stability while the sturdy stick built fuselage is extremely robust for those less than perfect landings. The two tow hooks also offer the pilot different launching options depending on the wind speed on the day. – Power Towline Glider – Type Traditional Build Kit – Wingspan 1016mm (40”) – Length 622mm (24.5”) – Weight 110g (3.8oz) Approx – Ages 14 Kit Contents – Laser cut balsa components – Wire, sheet & strip balsa wood – White covering tissue – Full size printed plan & instructions Requires: Keil Kraft models are traditional hobby products and are supplied in kit format.
