Description F1N-150 (now ratified as F1T as of 2026) is contest class for indoor catapult glides under 150mm wingspan (roughly 5.9 inches) that has become hugely popular in Europe. We at J&H Aerospace can’t let Eastern Europe have all the fun, so we designed a Micro Protege to help popularize this class in the US. All five members of the J&H team have built Micro Proteges and have found them incredibly fun to fly. The only sanding required on the entire model is the wing leading edge of the wing, so these build extremely quickly. Despite the ease of building, we do not recommend these models for beginners because the parts are extremely small and some are rather fragile. The Micro Protege kit contains enough parts to build three complete gliders, balancing clay, catapult dowel, and catapult rubber. You will need medium CA to complete your Micro Protege.
